About Us

Aspen Lands Advisory: Your Partner in Land Development

Nestled in the picturesque town of Lumby, BC, Aspen Lands Advisory made its mark in the land approvals and development industry in 2017. As momentum grew, we expanded our presence by opening an office in Kelowna, quickly establishing ourselves as a trusted consultancy group in the Okanagan.

Led by James Kay and a team of seasoned professionals, Aspen brings a wealth of expertise in land development approvals and projects —ranging from master-planned communities, permitting approvals at different levels and areas of government, and full-scale development management.

Over the years, we’ve worked closely with municipalities, helping navigate complex development review processes in various communities. Through collaboration with dedicated staff, innovative developers, and passionate landowners, we’ve played an integral role in shaping thoughtful and sustainable developments. But our journey didn’t stop there.

By 2022, our team had grown, and we formed a strong partnership with Alpine Engineering, the Owners’ Civil Engineering team. This collaboration strengthened our ability to provide top-tier advisory and consulting engineering services, offering a seamless, one-stop approach to land development. From visioning and strategic planning to permitting, project management, and ultimately detailed subdivision and infrastructure design with Alpine Engineering, we ensure every step is expertly handled.

Today, Aspen Lands Advisory is a dynamic team of professionals, each bringing unique skills and strengths. Together, we create customized solutions and deliver exceptional service to our valued clients.

Aspen Lands Advisory is more than just a consultancy—we’re your trusted partner in transforming land development visions into reality. With passion, expertise, and dedication, we’re here to help you navigate the journey from concept to completion.
